The household and the role
Some households follow a formal service structure; others call for a more relaxed, adaptable approach. Regular entertaining, travel, and the household’s daily routine may also shape the position. The trial should reflect those distinctions.
Trial arrangements
We coordinate the trial with the household and the chef, check in throughout the process, and offer guidance and support as needed.
Food, service, and household fit
Food quality, presentation, and the consistency of service are central to the trial. Menu planning, kitchen organization, and responsiveness to feedback give a sense of how the chef approaches the role. Personality, professionalism, and communication help determine whether they are suited to the household.
We remain available to discuss feedback or any questions that arise.
Following the trial
Following the trial, we discuss feedback and next steps with the household. Once a chef is selected, we finalize the placement and support the transition into the role.
